ASPOTOGAN PENINSULA 
 

50km Loop - This is real Nova Scotia. Untouched by swarms of tourists, loose yourself in small traditional fishing villages and the rugged beauty of the South Shore. More.

The Queen of Southwest Cove – In order to marry his love, Max had to first build her a castle. He did!

Cyclers Heaven – If you like to cycle, you must cycle our loop. Rental shops below. Our tip - go counter-clockwise to avoid a large climb.

Swiss Air Flight 111 Memorial – A tragic plane crash struck our coastal communities on September 2, 1998. Please stop by the memorial if you have time.

Downtown – Located in the heart of Hubbards, this awesome restaurant has been welcoming hungry people, since 1988.

Exhibit – Check out the local art work exhibits on display.

Entertainment  – Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

 
BEACHES
 

Hubbards Beach – White sand, secluded private beach with warm water. Small price of admission, worth it to beat the crowds. Change rooms, bathrooms and a canteen available. 7 minute walk.

Queensland Beach – Very popular destination to beat the city heat. Change rooms, Lifeguards.

Fox Point Beach – Quiet beach, about 5 minutes away.

Whynacht's Beach – This beach will occasionally lose all of its sand during certain storms only to have it mysteriously return. No one knows why.

Cleaveland Beach – Beautiful beach with a nice trail around the point. 

Puddle Beach – Very small, sheltered but just off the road.

Black Point Beach– Not as popular, but large.

Bayswater Beach –  Very popular in the summers, onsite change rooms and Sheila's food truck.

Mill Cove Beach – Small, quiet and less crowded.

East River Beach – Small, quiet and less crowded.
